Real-Time ROV Tracking
This ProcessLife module creates a bidirectional association between remotely operated vehicles (ROV) and the 3D virtual subsea environment, allowing Owner/Operators to visualize and track ROVs in real time during maintenance and inspection operations.
Based on real-time monitoring data sent by the ROV, providing position coordinates and attitudes, ProcessLife visualizes the ROV within the complete model of subsea assets, including all seafloor equipment, such as wells, manifolds, control umbilicals, and flowlines.
The clear benefit is the ability to dynamically observe and position real-time movement of an ROV in the virtual model. Similarly, ProcessLife customization captures images from the ROV’s camera and can drape those images onto the virtual subsea model.
